Module 10. Evaluating and Disseminating Population Health Interventions

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, you will be able to

  • describe key evaluation designs for assessing the effectiveness of population health interventions in cases where randomized control trials (RCTs) are not feasible;
  • identify key sources of population health indicators;
  • explain the four key aspects of population health interventions (inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes) that need to be measured for evaluation purposes;
  • describe the key features of effective knowledge translation (KT) for the dissemination of evaluation results.
